This is a great question. Perhaps a better question is What is the value to you? Suppose your relationship is progressing to the next level and you're considering a major commitment; however, you also have suspicions about your partner. Likely, you can see where I'm headed - this decision could affect the rest of your life. Again - when making a major life decision where you have doubts and suspicion about the other person - what is the value to you in getting to the truth? If children are involved and your divorcing, what is the value to you of your child's safety and well-being?

Yes, the results are admissible in court.
Most of the time, an investigator will charge an hourly fee. Maryland private detectives can charge in the range of 75 to 150 dollars an hour; however, the rates can fluctuate depending on specialty. It's worth noting that rates can also vary contingent with where one hires an investigator. Rates can be higher in say SoHo, New York or Beverly Hills, CA.
Yes, a private investigator can do so. If the client is not an owner/co-owner of the vehicle, then the installation of a GPS device on the vehicle is not permitted. It's worth noting that data from a GPS device does not by itself prove an infidelity charge. You can see where this is going: there would be no direct evidence of the identity of the vehicle operator or passenger(s). Furthermore, the office is open to employing them; however, it's worth pointing out that they are best used in scenarios where a vehicle being surveilled is difficult to acquire given its location, an operator's unsafe driving habits, or situations where traffic is thick and congested.
If both the client and Fischer Investigative Services agree to move forward, the rest of the process is relatively simple. Fischer Investigative Services would then send a contract to the client. This is what's known as a retainer. The document is an agreement the client must accept and sign before any work can be initiated. The retainer clarifies the purpose of the investigation, its costs, the rate billed, and other important details.
There are some common misperceptions of the private investigations industry.
Can a private investigator obtain phone records or hack a phone? No. Despite what's seen on tv, this would require a subpoena from a court.
Can a private investigator listen in on someone's phone call? No. Again, this would require a subpoena from a court of law. Law enforcement, with the approval of a judge, can only do this.
Can a private investigator arrest someone? No. Private detectives do not have arrest powers.
